Hypnosis is a state of deep relaxation and focused concentration, where you are fully conscious and aware. During hypnosis your conscious mind is quietened, which allows us to communicate with your subconscious mind, to reprogram it and change certain beliefs, behaviours and habits.
Hypnotherapy is not mind control and cannot have you “clucking like a chicken”! This myth came from Hollywood fiction and Stage Hypnotism, where volunteers in the audience would play along and participate in silly suggestions on stage.
Hypnotherapy is a natural process in which your mind is more receptive to positive suggestions while releasing negative feelings. It aids the mind’s ability to rapidly integrate new skills, strategies and strengths while gently releasing blocks and fears.
Hypnotherapy allows you to tap into your inner resources and connect to your highest abilities, potential and true self.
